June 11, 2022 - In a really good place after a few hours. There are hints of tertiary notes but still very vibrant with great texture. Classic Cameron profile, really enjoyed this.

January 15, 2022 - Took until the second night but it came around. Lovely mix of dark berry fruits and spice, rich but balanced. Begs for patience, open it in the morning…

July 22, 2021 - This bottle had overly Sweet fruit. Brett plagued. Drinking through this case is like playing hopscotch in a minefield

June 18, 2021 - Friday Night Brown Bagger (J&J's): Blind, though as soon as my nose went in the glass I knew this was my Cameron. Garnet color with notes of bacon, earthy funk and cherry. Flavors of cherry, spice, clay and raspberry. Turns to a darker pinot fruit profile with air, and adds forest floor notes to the typical “Cameron funk.”

This had been double decanted about three hours before the flight was poured.

May 10, 2021 - Just not feeling it with this. Love Cameron wines, but this Reserve bottling seems too polished, too rich, and lacks the funky, earthy, saline-inflected edge I associate with John Paul's other cuvees. Make no mistake, it's good wine, but one that could have been made by anyone.
