September 17, 2014 - Deep brown which turned deep red with air.
Immediate animale/stinkiness which blew off.
Red fruit. Slightly oxidised, almost a little plummy. Nose still kicking and primary.
Similar palate at the start.
With air, changes completely into a umami/sous bois driven wine.
Not a bad wine, but did not turn into the glass that was hoped for.
Could be storage issues. -

February 1, 2005 - Medium coffee crimson red. Lovely round aroma of red fruit and violets with a slight acidity. Slightly tight red fruit and a hint of banana, coffee, and cola. Very nice. 2/05
