July 8, 2022 - Rose petal scent. Lively, light on its feet and very well-balanced. Tart cherry, blackberry, spice, and earth flavor with ample fine tannins. Makes you want to keep tasting more.

April 13, 2022 - Trending toward Burgundian style, but more flower and spice scent; and somewhat lean spice, anise, mineral and sour cherry flavor. Finishes with ample fine tannins. Quite interesting.

November 25, 2021 - Because the 1999 Gaiun was corked and Elizabeth wants something red. Happy Thanksgiving to me/you/us!

I mean, I’m biased, but outstanding f at the cork pull. Elegant baking spice, red cherry fruit, wild red fruit palate. Light tannin, medium minus body.

Day 3, still showing great. Fine red cherry aroma. Palate has mineral and fruit balance. Light tannin.

May 16, 2021 - Well made. Reminds me of a Burgundy. Would like more American pinot noir flavors, in particular, spice and fruit. It is past its prime.
