July 17, 2022 - Nose is quite subdued, not showing much, only faint tobacco.
Palate is soft with primary flavors of red and sour cherry along with earthy notes. Finish is clean and dry with more sour cherry fruit and earth.
Overall, good, but it won’t be memorable amongst past great Brunello. It just doesn’t hit that next level and the aromatics are weak. Drink now or soon. -

June 17, 2022 - Dinner at Noize: First time trying this producer and I do get the hype on this one. A floral, red-fruited nose and the palate was burgundian in style save for the grippy tannins. If you like Soldera and Stella this will be for you. For a much-maligned vintage this was stunning and held its own against the big hitters.

June 17, 2022 - Dinner with Melvin (Noize): Slightly sad on this wine's behalf that it came towards the end of our (overly indulgent) dinner, as it was an impressive wine in its own right. Good balance, as with the 2008 I had recently: generously-fruited, savoury, grippy, with a lift towards the bright, slightly tart finish.
