December 28, 2022 - Delicious, gorgeous Syrah from K. Bright ruby with no sign of aging yet. Initial aromas dominated by Rocks funk and smoked meat. The funk mellowed out with about 20 minutes of decant and the wine got softer and more elegant as the night progressed. Dark fruit, some blueberry, smoked meats, spice and a definite note of caramel with some chocolate. The "Starbucks" flavours. The tannins have integrated nicely and are silky and fine. The finish lasts about a minute. A very expressive and elegant Syrah that is drinking perfectly right now. A gem.

November 5, 2022 - The Nearly Annual Lyon 10 Year Retro Tasting #24, Wines of Washington (Lyon Again, Eugene, OR): This was amazing start to the second flight! "Sweet", but big and lush with blackberry, currant, and black cherry on stone and floral notes. New World written all over it, but still fun! Now-2027.

October 14, 2021 - Very nice, smooth and lush Syrah. Mellowed considerably with some age. Black fruits, smoke, rust, and very soft tannins. Lots of minerals, earth and hints of tapenade. Exceptionally easy drinking and my guess is this thing isn't getting any better. Drink up!

March 13, 2021 - Needs time to open. Out the bottle not great. 20 min later it got better and 40 minutes later better still. This thing might sing on day 2. Paired with spicy Indian food.
