February 17, 2017 - Dark opaque color. Day two: menthol on nose with hints of quinine. Corn husk tea on palate and pine needle essence to go with juicy fruit. good balance and acidity with medium tannin. Good complexity and interest.

September 17, 2016 - Overly extracted to my palette. Would likely have enjoyed more with an asado. Dark fruits, wood, oak, leather with mid-high tannins. Maybe could've used a few more years in the bottle?

Opaque crimson.
Plum and a touch of licorice on the nose.
Cherry. plum, some spice on the palate. Medium body with a smooth but not long finish. Not particularly complex, but worth the money.
