April 19, 2022 - Bought on release and stored at 55 degrees. 5 hr decant. Had with a Mediterranean stew. Elegant for a Barolo with amber edge. Black cherries, spices, finely integrated tannins. Long finish, superbly balanced. A food wine for sure. Will age but I am not sure will improve for my tastes. Old World style.

September 2, 2014 - Tasting at Enoteca Regionale del Barolo (Enoteca Regionale del Barolo in Barolo): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of earth, rose bush, strawberries, and red cherries. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavor intensity, with flavours of earth, slight vanilla oak, sour red cherries, and strawberries. Long finish.
Good quality Barolo. Will continue to improve over the next 5+ years.
From the Castellero cru in the commune of Barolo.
