  July 24, 2019 - I honestly struggling where to go with this wine so it will be meandering. It's that odd. It was in my cellar, grabbed it for no other reason than I didn't know what it was and I like grabbing things like that; and, I'm still kinda grappling with that. Dark as hell garnet in the glass, some effervescence. Popped and poured, nose is stewed prunes, raisins, figs, just near every overdone red/dark fruit. pomegranate, Its all there, some nilla, cola. Its dark. Low Acid, no tannin. The shock of it is the spritz, it has some carbonation. Its crazy. It adds a nice texture versus the weight, gotta say I kinda see what they were trying for there. It works to a degree and it keeps me interested. Its just so unusual that I can't put it down. This goes more with dessert than main dish. I'm downing chocolate ship cookies that are killing it with this. Pick you battled if you have this, and its not for the straight arrowed. Its different, and that makes it interesting.

  January 17, 2018 - Assuming this was spoiled as the only other sparkling red I've tried is sparkling shiraz. A frizzante, watery red with an unpleasant stewed nose.
