September 8, 2023 - Happy to stay at 93 my last bottle - for more commentssee my last rating.

December 22, 2022 - Bright ruby red, with a very faint translucent edge. Piney resin that almost reads sharp and angular yet a completely different experience on the palate: smooth, silky, fresh, luscious, hints of licorice and seamless. Tasted with a Vietnamese stew Bo Ko and paired with the Ovello, which had more dark berry fruit and was just as compelling. What a holiday treat!

December 3, 2022 - The wine is really drinking well - a pleasant nose where you get pepper and cherries - on the palette more cherries and blackberries - lots of fresh fruit - you get Nebbiolo spices and tobacco - both tannins and acidity are medium - happy to increase our rating to 93 - the wine is drinking well.

October 16, 2022 - This was a magnum and we had it over two days - the wine was great - a very balanced wine where you are getting cherries and black currant - medium tannins but medium + acidity still a very good balance - we are also getting tobacco and liquorice - the wine is very drinkable and elegant - we are happy to give solid 92.
