January 23, 2022 - The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant, black currant (cassis), blackberry, fig, plum and black pepper. It tastes like red currant, black currant (cassis), blackberry, fig, black pepper, almond and plum. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.
5/5 STILL GREAT PINOT TASTE, GREAT BODY & COLOR

August 19, 2016 - Really nice wine 4 years into it. Bright strawberry with nice dried fruit lingering at finish. Acidity is present but balanced. This wine will balance more and be more complete with a couple of years, but it's fun to drink wines early sometimes to see their bright fruit notes.

August 14, 2016 - Stunner. Soft, beautifully velvet mouthfeel. SRH AVA example of pinot quality! Strawberry nectar with a plumy back bone. Just the right amount of spice. Enjoy this vintage! Gonna race out and try their chard.

May 16, 2015 - Just a beautiful wine - bursting with flavor and aroma. I feel that I'm drinking a fine perfume. This is a stunning example of what Sta. Rita Hills is capable of and why I think that this AVA produces some of the best Pinot Noirs in the world. Blind tasted alongside a Hamilton (South Africa) and an Elk Cove (Willamette Valley).
