July 18, 2020 - Cassis, sweet tobacco, barnyard, cigar box, ash. Medium-full body. Medium acidity. Tannins are well integrated. Medium-long finish. Went great with steak. Probably at peak - I’d drink it before the fruit fades too much.

October 18, 2019 - Blackberry, cassis, black cherry, cigar box, cedar, smoke. Medium-full body. Medium acidity & tannins. Medium-plus finish. Better when it came to room temperature. Ready now, but no rush either.

September 14, 2018 - Decanted for about 30 mins then back into the bottle. Just too much wood for my palate and the finish was edgy and clipped. Not from a stellar vintage.

August 4, 2018 - Cassis, blackberry, smoke, raspberry. Medium-full body. Medium, velvety tannins that softened over time. It really took awhile for this to open up.

September 24, 2016 - Decanted 4.5 hours and consumed over the next 3.5. Minimal sediment in the bottle. Brooding cassis, blackberry, savory herbs, and cedar. Quite fragrant. Medium-high acidity and tannins. Medium-full bodied. Medium-long finish. Went well with ribeye and on its own. Got better as time went on. Good now, but probably at least a few more years before it peaks.
