April 20, 2018 - A beauty. Completely ready now - a balance between still being vibrant and mature dark ripe fruit with ruby red notes. I got tons of Blackberry cookie aromas and licorice. Exactly how I like my Central Coast Syrahs. Great work from the winery. I kept getting some Grenache red berry spices and freshness, but as far as I know, it is a 100% Syrah. Kinda strange, but lovely and charming for the wine.
Drinking a wine in its prime window is always a pleasure.

August 6, 2015 - Dark reddish/purple, somewhat restrained nose. Nice dark red and black fruits with some pepper and smoked meats. Decent finish.
