June 6, 2021 - Decanted and sat for 2.5 hours. Exceptional. Purply dark violet in color and a bit inky.. Nose of Blackberry and a hint asphalt. Full- bodied but not overpowering mouthfeel. Fine tannins- just noticeable.. Earthy taste but just right.. well balanced with a touch of berry and cherry. No spiciness but a smooth finish and a little note of vanilla as it opened up. If I had another bottle I would drink it now with some lamb if you are so inclined.

May 11, 2018 - There is a richness to this wine that begins with the nose continues through the flavor profile and the smoothness at the end. Exceptional.

November 6, 2017 - Wonderful, strong berry, smooth. What a great Syrah blend. Hat's off! Not sure how much better it will get.

February 29, 2016 - Dark violet and inky black after pop n pouring. Nose of sweet dried fruit, stewed fruit, some wet earth. On the palate it was soft and round. Flirted with over ripe with notes of dried figs, a touch of raisin, and anise. A bit disappointed in the lack of complexity and depth. Nice bottle over all but not a great QPR.
