November 24, 2020 - Drinking well now. New age style. Needs a decent hour plus decanting. Still has 3 to 5 years of life in it

August 27, 2019 - Strongly spicy and very alcoholic, like a wine-infused gin. Nose shows perfumed fruit notes of plum, raspberry, and saffron, backed by earthy hints of sausage and fennel. Palate shows perfumed fruit flavours of plum, violet liqueur, and raspberry, with bitter spice notes of cassia, clove, and liver. Silky, spirit-like mouthfeel, with low acid and tannin. Fascinating, but feels unbalanced to me, with too much alcohol and not enough acid or tannin.

July 26, 2018 - Nice wine, living well. Fruit dominates even now. Serious granular crust indicates decanting but not essential. It's heavy and didn't cloud the wine.

May 14, 2018 - Nose of blackcurrant, black cherry, mint, slight funk on the back end.
Big fruity palate, blackberry, soft raspberry, eucalyptus, peach. Generous acidic backbone and a soft tannic structure. Just enough bottle age to keep me coming back. A lovely Grenache.1 person found this helpful Comment -
