February 20, 2024 - Opened and left overnight in the cellar. Color is a vibrant purple-ruby. Viscous. Grenache donates the nose, fragrant and flowery. Grenache showing up in the mouth as well, though Mourvèdre makes an appearance as well. Although there is little if any residual sugar, the wine tastes ripe and-even more so-sweet. Peak drinking; not sure I’d keep much longer as it seems to be at its apogee now. 5-13-16-8: 92/100.

April 9, 2023 - Nice aged GSM (predominantly Grenache) blend. Really singing at this point and no signs of peaking or being tired. Drink now and thoroughly enjoyable or continue to hold if you want to see how tertiary notes will develop.

February 16, 2023 - Held surprisingly well, popped two for the group, there was little difference between bottles. Big sappy black and red fruits, oak, earth, alcohol on the nose. Wine is concentrated, mature, but in a great drinking spot. Flavors match the nose and it's intensity. Full body, +tannin, med+ acid, good lengthy, a bit boozy on the finish, any more oomph amd we'd be in Port territory. Surprised to say the least as I haven't really liked any of the other that I have popped in the past few years (made me think Paso is what you drink while you wait for CdP and N. Rhone or Napa to mature). Too bad they sold everything.

December 27, 2022 - My last bottle, and I'm sad. Paired it with French onion rice and it gave me all the feels. As I like to say, Denner always delivers. Let's hope this continues in the Gallo era.
