July 15, 2016 - One of my favorite wineries, and one of their most interesting wines. Part-orange, all personality. Nose is apricot and flowers. Palate is stone fruit, savory herbs, and some sweet tannic grip. Color is golden but not to the point of looking oxidized. Taste is fresh and the finish is long. There's some grapeyness in the flavor, but it works to balance the tannins. I like it.

August 27, 2015 - I'm actually a bit disappointed with this wine. Past bottles were minerally tannic with lots of unique personality. Now this seems really grapey and without finesse. I hope this is just a shut-down moment for this wine. This winemaker is usually really outstanding...
