May 7, 2010 - Getting around to drinking this bottle slightly later than suggested. Upon first taste, strong plum like jam nose and heavy fruit, slight hints of oak, mint, strawberry. Smooth, rich. Now have decanted for one hour. Ultra smooth, almost creamy, rich. Slightly hot suggesting high alcohol content. Does not show a long finish; falls somewhat flat on the back of the tongue. Overall very good showing.

May 30, 2009 - Delicious. cherry/chocolate and a touch of oak. Light tannins and medium finish. We enjoyed this with a nice steak. If you have a bottle of this lying around I would suggest drink now!

April 6, 2008 - Deep dark purple appearance. Beautiful bouquet with notes of ripe cherry, oak, coffee and cassis. Similar notes on palate with soft tannins. Slightly chalky and a light to medium finish. Still a very good if not excellent wine.
