February 13, 2016 - Of course this 2013 is showing some maturity. Still very dark purple color with sone browning at the rim. Mouth coating sweet red fruit. Some real Cabernet flavors. Mature red fruit, oak, smoke and sassafras. Medium plus bodied. Mature caramel meets red raspberry finish. Other, nuanced secondary flavors like licorice and graphite.

December 31, 2014 - Medium color, faint but attractive nose. Lots of fruit over an adequate tannic base, and the right degree of acidity to bring the flavors together. Pleasant finish, a bit on the light side. Tasty and undemanding, a nice easy-drinking Cab in a very New World style. Not made for keeping, drinking well now, although it does need some air.
