Community Tasting Notes 3

December 8, 2015 - Decanted 1 hr. ahead. Very dark garnet color. Pleasant but shy nose of spices, blackberries, earth tones. Medium-full body on the palate with firm acid balance. That texture is the best thing about this wine. Finishes with notable but fine-grained tannins. Certainly drinkable.

September 3, 2014 - Really attractive, fresh and silky expression of tempranillo, which feels lower in alcohol than its stated 13.5%. Nicely brambly and smoky, with some tobacco, cedar, and soil tones.
