October 2, 2021 - Ready to drink. Slightly flattish finish. Good tanines.

September 23, 2017 - At first pour, there is a clear hint of vanilla-oak, but it dissapears after some time. The first day it is almost painfully young, with dense black fruit and fierce tannins. Certainly not a pleaser: On day two it begins to open up a bit and reveal some more fruit and charm, but it is still quite backward. Will put the rest of these to sleep for +5 years. 91 for now

October 30, 2016 - Aaltos kusine?

January 18, 2016 - Very ripe fruit and high extraction coupled with a bit of new oak and lots of malo. Black currant, butterscotch, a bit of wet soil and dark chocolate. Round and full bodied but with a good acidity.

Nothing I fancy really, but a good quality wine and good QPR at about 20€.

April 20, 2015 - Retailer tasting (Vianen): A bouquet with ripe dark forest fruits, sweet spices and some menthol. Same on the palate, beautiful oak, a touch of sweetness balanced by good acidity and creamy tannin with a soft bite. A beautiful and harmonious wine. Early maturity now and a future until well into the 2020's. 92+
