Community Tasting Notes 1

September 4, 2014 - Trip to Paris; 9/1/2014-9/6/2014 (Paris, France): I had never seen this before, so definitely wanted to give it a try. I learned it's a combination of their Badel and Guillamy holdings..hence the "Bad Guy" name - in future vintages, it sounds like the Vin de France label will be switched out for a St. Joseph classification.

Anyways, the wine was beautiful albeit glossy. One of the dinner's guests thought it might be a bit too glossy, but after more air, the rusticity of the wine really emerged. Nice meaty and salty tones emerged with great berry and earthy elements too. Hoping that this finds its way stateside at some point.
