November 13, 2021 - Deep dark purple in the glass. Nose shows the age, musky, currant, slight sour note, not getting any fresh or fruity notes. Taste follows the nose more or less, nice mouthfeel, good acid and nice tannin balance, dry but not overpowering. Uncomplicated palate, unfortunately the main notes I get are currant and sort of sour licorice. The licorice/sour note from the nose to the finish isn't really doing it for me.
Interesting and nice enough, decent qpr I suppose but not a winner for me. Probably past it's best -

October 2, 2020 - Blackcurrant and cedar, touch of tobacco. Medium bodied and cool in the mouth. Plenty of tannic bite and acid. Savoury rather than exuberant. Very good balance and length and excellent value for money.

June 27, 2020 - Blackcurrant and leather. Rich, sweet fruit in the mouth, clove and cinnamon. A touch syrupy but enough tannin. Decent length and good concentration. Super wine, great value.

October 10, 2019 - This is in a good place right now. It’s mellowed a little bit from the last time. There is still some presence of tannins and it’s got some nice fruit. I enjoyed it.
