  December 31, 2023 - Nyårsafton hos P+H med C+H+I (Södermalm (P+H)): (Decanted for one hour)
  Deep red colour with a maturing nose showing leather, herbs and licorice and some violets in a delicious and seductive way. Smooth tannins on the palate with a fruitful sweetness intensity and showing some dried fruit on the pleasant and lengthy finish.

  November 24, 2023 - Ready with 30 min in decanter. Evolved, but not tertiary aromas yet. Homogenous and silky, good focus. Had it in Burgundy glass, totally deserve it. This could score higher, but the alcohol @ 14.5% is noticeable, which I find in a lot of 2010's drank lately.

  June 10, 2023 - Nice mushroom taste that works well with the Sangiovese body. Totally smooth and on its peak now with a burgundy color.

  August 10, 2022 - Root Day - decanted off a very small amount of fine sediment. Still dark garnet core out to a bricking edge and rim. Showing some development but the core is still dense. Nose is cedar, earth, red flowers, black licorice, anise, dried oregano and dark red cherries. The nose is both delicate with the floral and cherry and intense with the licorice, anise and cedar at the same time On the palate it’s ultra smooth on entry (I use a Pinot Noir glass for older Italian wines) with some ripe tannins still evident and medium plus acidity. The flavours echo the nose managing to be delicate (roses, light fruit and light cedar) and robust (earth, licorice and black cherry). This is a very sophisticated wine and wonderful to enjoy. It’s certainly on the plateau but has years to go if wanted. I think it’s at it’s peak right now with everything in balance and including development.
