  August 25, 2023 - Gone downhill some since last tasting, definitely on the decline. Still has a funky nose, oddly reminds me almost of a single-malt, but still very pleasant to drink. Don't hold.

  March 19, 2021 - This is a very enjoyable, food-friendly wine -- it may be about as integrated as it ever will be, and while not nearly perfect, it has elements of greatness, even if the whole may not be greater than the sum of the parts. The nose is my least favorite part, but the acid-tannin balance is very nice, structure is tight, and the finish is long and distinct. Concur with other notes that it may be best to serve a bit under temperature, and allow it to breathe for at least an hour. I decanted and waited about 30 minutes, but it needed longer to open in the glass.

  July 23, 2020 - A bit hit or miss, decent with food, but off balance on its own... balsamic vinegar harshness hard to escape but pleasant fruit and spice can come forward at times. Pair it with robust flavors and hearty dishes or cheese for best experience. Throw was thick clogging microfilter, which helps along with some air time and serving a bit cooler.
