March 11, 2020 - To my surprise, this seemed to open up and reveal a little more complexity on days 2 and 3 vs. day 1. Clean and a bit dense. Overall, decent QPR for a riserva, but not a particularly exciting wine for me.

April 19, 2019 - Medium ruby color, not super dark, but not showing significant signs of age at this time. Rich aromas, cherry and underbrush, with a tiny hint of alcohol, some depth from the oak. The palate is a bit hot and dense. May improve with age and open up to more complexity. Overall, not my favorite. Seems like it has some upside potential, try in a few years.

April 7, 2019 - Piena maturità. Superbo Sangiovese, profondo ma al tempo stesso dotato di una sua leggerezza. Chianti Rufina al meglio. Bella sinergia fruttato- floreale-spezia. Sottofondo importante di terziari (tabacco, cuoio e tostato). Dinamica piacevole al palato. Finale di ottima lunghezza.
