February 15, 2022 - Assertive 2013 acidity along with crystalline slate aromas and flavors, made for a perfect pairing with raw oysters. Cellared since original release.

November 25, 2017 - Medium straw color. Light body. Lime, citrus and abricot. Fresh, well balanced. Quickly disappears without much of a finish. Had with hake and cream. Worked well enough.

September 10, 2014 - Ripe fruit on the nose, creamy, gentle, less acidic. Not overly complex which is particularly obvious when tasting the excellent Sonnenuhr GG alongside. Linear, but still precise, pretty and well made. 89-90+

September 8, 2014 - A Visit To Fritz-Haag (Brauneberg, Germany): The nose is a bit austere right now, showing bare soil and scents of yellow flowers. When tasted, yellow apple flavors show right away along with a touch of cream, and later some apple peel flavors come into play. As it evolves, the apples show great depth. A long and slow build of acid is enjoyable, slowly rising above the richness and creating some nice evolution. 90+
