January 7, 2023 - Bit shy in the beginning but after few hours it opened up beautifully showing this great ald school nebbiolo:-)

March 22, 2022 - PnP (that was likely a mistake). A bit closed from the start (and I also got the slight nose of TCA, but it faded away with time and was not bothering. A decent decanting is required as last glass was really nice.

April 30, 2020 - PnP, then drunk over three evenings, no TN, from memory.
The cork smelled clean, but strange enough, the wine in the glass gave the impression of being a bit corked. But this dissipated with air, when in the glass: the pour from the bottle had it till the end. The wine needed air and gave its best on day two, when the nose was still fresh (after some time in the glass) and its expression on the palate was at its best: intense and very peculiar aromatics, juicy, strong tannins but well integrated. A wine of character, not very polished, a bit wild and clearly made in the traditional way. Would love to see how this evolves in the next 10 years.

September 20, 2018 - Reviewing 2010 Barbaresco (Miraflores de la Sierra - Madrid): In my modest opinion, much better than Pora's bottle. Aromas of ripe dark cherries with violets. On the palate is the essence of the femininity that Barbaresco represents. Delicacy, finesse and elegance. Delicious and abundant with a velvety density and a good length. My personal choice until now.
