Community Tasting Notes 2

January 22, 2011 - Surprisingly still drinkable. Initially the aromas were oppressive--essence of barnyard. Decanted and after an hour the aromas had tamed and made the wine more approachable. Some fruit left, but clearly on its last legs. The wine continued to improve for another 1-2 hours.

April 4, 1990 - With MPL at the London Wine Bar. Nice ruby purple color. Decent nose; understated. On the palate, round, elegant, silky blackberry flavors. Drinkable now. 5-9-15-7: 86/100.
