  March 29, 2021 - Might be a bit pricey but this is excellent right now. Was good right from bottle, showing some nice blue fruit and pleasant oak and spice in background, medium-rich but not heavy. Opened up over a few hours in bottle and was slightly improved on night 2. Still some solid structure but doubt it develops much further.

  December 30, 2020 - It’s seems a little more delicate than the last time I had it. Nice fruit with some prominent spice notes on the finish. After a few hours it really mellows out and is in a nice spot.

  August 24, 2018 - Dark ruby red. Eucalyptus, sage & spicy black pepper nose with a berry aroma. Woody palate with some underlying ripe red berries. Pretty acidic at 7 years but it doesn’t seem like age will do it any favors.
  Served as wine pairing with filet mignon/chanterelle mushroom dish at Napa Rose - Disney.

  April 5, 2016 - I've enjoyed prior vintages, but the weakness of the 2011 season is more evident here than in any other 2011 I've had to date. The wine is well made but there's so little work with. You've got the polish you'd expect and the tannins are tempered as well as can be, but there's little fruit or depth to the wine itself. Really a shame.

  December 11, 2015 - Good not great. It had some nice fruit and a nice finish. The tannins were rounded and it is overall a pretty good wine. The disappointment is that I've had Napa cabs that cost half as much and were just as good if not better.
