March 3, 2016 - No formal notes, but this was surprisingly interesting for a wine at this price point. We will be buying more.

September 15, 2014 - Very reliable over the years. I was a little concerned when they stopped holding it back an extra year or two and labeling it riserva, but quality hasn't suffered much. Earthy and herbal, so despite solid fruit and smooth balance, I can see why it doesn't sell as much as the brand's more in-your-face Nero d'Avola and Primitivo.
