May 20, 2018 - Splash decanted (some benefit as the medium/light fruit was reticent). Light red in color. The fruit on the nose leans towards lighter berries and floral notes; also some cherry and a hint of earth (not detecting oak). Medium light fruit weigh with a bright crunchiness, light tannins and quite evident acidity. All seems in balance. Was better with food (white pizza), but would not put this Brunello with red meat as a first choice. Drink or hold.

December 12, 2016 - spice, dried flowers and red cherry perfumes, fresh acid, bright and tart on the attack, follows through with red berries, tobacco, cherry and mineral on the palate, dry, classic in style, mouthwatering, a good hour or two decant and this is open for business, excellent food wine, especially with brick oven baked Margherita pizza

July 16, 2016 - The nose showed rich red berries, with spicy florals, and fresh strawberry. On the palate, I found juicy, well balanced textures with a mix of ripe cherry and spice. The finish was long with a lingering sweet spice note. A very pleasurable Brunello for early drinking. Aged in neutral oak and harvest a little earlier than the average producer to maintain freshness.
