September 19, 2014 - Aaldering Tasting (1855): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of citrus lemon-lime, gooseberry, and some pineapple. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemon-lime, gooseberry, and pineapple. Rounded mouth-feel probably due to the 7 months on lees and battonage bi-weekly for the first 2 months. Medium finish.
