August 20, 2022 - This was the only Willamette Pinot on the wine list sub-$150 with any age on it so I took a flyer. It opened with a bright strawberry note and high acid but after 45 mins in a decanter, the fruit had mellowed out into cherry liqueur and the acidity was less present. Delicious but nothing crazy special. This is probably beyond its best years but it’s still an enjoyable bottle.

April 14, 2021 - After several years in the cellar, the wine shows both maturity and food-friendly finesse, starting with aromas of red cherry, raspberry and pomegranate with bittersweet chocolate, moist earth, minerality and woodruff. The wealth of acidity and modest tannin structure have been preserved, as have flavors of strawberry, cherry, cranberry and pomegranate.

March 29, 2021 - Dark ruby colored with medium legs. There is light sediment. Aromas of blackberry, red currant, cherry and vanilla with flavors of red currant and plum.

September 28, 2018 - Scott notes that it smells like an old wine - but I would say not terribly overdone old wine, savory, but with a fruit core to it. Good acidity, still good balance.

November 22, 2017 - Fabulous Burgundy-like complexity. Dark cherry, salty blood. The aroma that the leaves you didn't rake in fall take on in March. Strong tannins. Appetizing acidity. Structured and serious, this is a baby at 13 years of age and I wouldn't be surprised to see it last a couple of decades more.
