November 20, 2015 - Deep inky purple in the glass, nose is restrained with hints of black fruits and herbs, palate is fruit forward, lush and full bodied, savory herbs and ripe black plum, blackberries, medium tannins and soft acidity lead to a long finish. Nice.

April 9, 2015 - "B+" I enjoyed this more at first. This is a well made wine with some characteristics that are right up my alley - like its herbal, savory character - and some that I don't enjoy - namely, a balance that skews towards body and "lushness" without the level of acidity that I prefer to balance those things out, as well as a *slightly* intrusive level of oak for my tastes.

A more straightforward and clichéd way of saying this is that it has some "New World" elements and some "Old World" elements. Overall this skews toward the new world.
