October 15, 2023 - Still tightly wound when first opened. After 15 minutes a little lemon and briar showed. After an hour the pear and lemon we at the forefront. However the flavors were pretty angular and not well integrated. This needs more time but may always be less elegant.

June 9, 2022 - Truly a beautiful wine. Dark color showing some age - no oxidation at all though on the nose or palate. Honey galore, but not sweet. Nice acidity and a very long sappy finish. All beautifully accomplished with only 13 percent alc. an outstanding wine.

March 28, 2019 - Okhuysen table d'hôte: a wine, difficult to taste; also here I think the wine missed aeration. The wine didn't blossom as I expected. There was a lot to taste (vanilla, new wood, smooth body) and the wine was pure. With a lot of air, I had tasted undoubtedly more complexity.
