October 28, 2016 - Not bad, relatively mature now and at the end of its drinking window, but the fruit has held up nicely and combines well with the peppery spices.

June 8, 2015 - Casillero del Diablo was one of my go to budget wines when I was in Chile and it's good to see it in Australia. Under screw cap and labeled as Shiraz to make things easy for us. Keep in mind this is a cooler climate style despite being labeled Shiraz. Obviously the price is higher than it was in Chile but still great value.

March 26, 2015 - Lively purple / cherry colour; open and attractive nose, ripe black fruit, notes of flowers, chocolate and black pepper, hint of toasty oak, nice freshness, lovely typicity; the palate is vibrant and fresh but still a bit tight, medium body, youthful but ripe tannins, marinated cherries; complete finish, good length. Yet another very well made Concha y Toro wine, not subtle but flavoursome and quite a steal for € 6.69.

December 25, 2014 - Dark ripe fruit with a good finish. Medium tannins which matched well with a roast turkey dinner.
