September 15, 2017 - Splash decanted. Initially quite muted it opens over about 30-60 minutes to show touches of pencil shavings and riper blackcurrant fruit married to cedar and firm, though not unyielding, tannins.

June 17, 2015 - Peter Bourne GWT Limestone Coast Cabernets Star Performers Tasting (8 Danks street, Sydney): Plum and black currant also a slight pyrazine quality here as well, a herbaceous lift if you will. In the mouth the wine is juicy and fresh with black fruits then drying chewy tannins, fruit struggles to persist underneath this. Hmm.

September 13, 2014 - Wine-Ark boys on tour - Hunter Valley 2014 - Day 2 (Hunter Valley): Aromas of black currant, slight sweet tobacco, pencil shavings, slight leather notes, cedar. In the mouth flavours of ripe black currant, quite full bodied, massive tannic grip, medium plus length. Not for me.
