August 18, 2011 - - Purple color and aromas of raspberry, cherry and mushroom. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry, black currant, cherry and licorice anise with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Like an old friend leaving, not to be seen again....last of a throughly enjoyable case. Graced my table and have enjoyed more recent vintages but this 2003 was nice....

January 10, 2010 - Very nice considering age and price point for this wine. Light on tanins, medium bodied. Held up well to a pasta with meat sauce. Wish I had another.

August 2, 2009 - Has been kept well fore a 6 years wine of this class, mature smell of rustic reds, soft tanins and middle bodied, with mature cherrys and cedar as the clearest taste. Good wine
