  February 16, 2019 - Soft on the open, but long finish. Tannins quite soft, plenty of body, more blue fruit than red. Really nice.

  August 20, 2015 - In the realm of The Grade and Pine Mountain Ampere -- sweet, bold, and not quite my style, but them who like such things should like this thing. Day two: fine. Just fine. Smoother but no improvement.

  August 16, 2015 - Comprised of a deft blending of Cabernet Sauvignon (84%), Petit Verdot (8%) and Merlot (8%). This is a delicious blend of balance and depth. Mocha notes under dark fruit, dark cherry, ripe blackberry and a hint of sweet oak. It is tasty without being weighty. Silky tannins and a rich mouthful of goodness. The nose is almost "Rutherfordesque". A bottle worth more than its price. Sadly I hear this is the last vintage?
