  May 28, 2017 - This wine still tastes fresh, even with several years on it. Similar to the 2015 vintage in flavor profile and quality. It has lemon, honey and toast notes with good acid and richness. Probably partly malolactic fermented as it has slight malolactic character and not overly buttery. Better than the 2014.

  March 23, 2016 - Tonight's positive surprise. The first Californian Chardonnay that I actually liked. Lots of oak of course but still with a balance and distinctness I didn't notice earlier in other Cal Chards. Aromas of apples, pears, vanilla, and butter. Still with a nice level of acidity to give a good balance.

  February 18, 2016 - Tropical fruit on the nose, predominantly ripe pineapple. Very heavy on the palate, with the effects of the malolactic fermentation is very obvious. Creamy, slight oak, low acid. Short-to-medium finish.
