October 13, 2014 - Pure violet on the nose- perhaps the most floral wine I have ever drank. Rich blue and blackberry, loads of spice- on the palate this wine is pure matter, dense and powerful but with great finesse. The tannins are still quite present, but the ensemble of fruit, floral and spice is in lock step. Great freshness of fruit, good acidity- a beauty to drink- and for a great price. If you can find it.
