March 15, 2017 - WSET Level 2 Award for Wines and Spirits Course; 3/14/2017-3/15/2017 (The Sapling, SHATEC Enabling Village): clear, deep ruby; clean, pronounced nose, of red berries, baked fruits, cinnamon, caramel, nutmeg; off-dry, low acid, medium tannins, blackcurrant, raising, toasts, smokehouse, chocolate, coffee; long finish of kahlua coffee hints; really velvety, excellent!

September 27, 2016 - PNP, and consumed over 3 hours. Wonderful. We really enjoyed this wine. Red raspberry, sage, splash of dark fruits, with super mellow tannins and bright acidity. Well balanced. Subtle but lingering finish. For us, this was 94-95 point stuff.

January 21, 2013 - Red berry and woody aromas. Wine is definitely ripe, right to the edge, comes across as dark plum. Strong showing of sage brush throughout the palate. Medium plus finish with some heat.
