December 28, 2018 - Very nice weeknight sipper, but seemed to lack a sense of place. It tasted like any other solid old world red with a few years of age. Good, but unremarkable.

December 20, 2018 - Huge nose. Bright fresh crunchy and very typical for the grape and the region. Slightly pricked on the tip of the tongue which is mostly just distracting. Some tree bark, leather, and masculine notes. Very chewy. Modest tannins. Not sure where the drinking window to 2035 comes from. Enjoy this now and in the short run for its freshness and primary flavors.

September 20, 2018 - Second bottle. Distinctly sweet note on the fruit, no green this time. A good grip of acidity and nothing overpowering, though the fruit and tannins seemed not to be well integrated. For $15 a solid bottle and I'd buy it again.
