April 22, 2010 - Geoff Hardy K1 Cab. Sauv. Mini Vertical (@ Home): This wine has a real musty nose that takes away from the more subtle dark fruits and mint.
The Palate has dense ripe fruits, high alc with moderate rustic tannins. Balanced acidity and medium length finish of old chest, dark cherry and pomagranite.
*I should note that there was a bit of leaking in the cork which gave a slight oxidative note on the palate. Still, more than drinkable but not at its best.
Very Good Quality 87 pts.
