May 14, 2019 - Decanted 2 hours. Still young. Wow...a lot of power. Was softer and better with every minute in the glass. At the moment i would decant it at least 2 hours. 93+ pts.

January 1, 2019 - Enjoyed this wine immensely during a NYE dinner. No bricking on pour. Great nose of cedar, cherry jam, menthol, dark berries, and some clove.

Great full mouthfeel with well delineated dark/red fruit. Tannin has integrated well and was silky smooth. A powerful Grenache undoubtedly, but with a sense of elegance and sophistication.

Paired with horseradish crusted dry aged prime rib, skillet potatoes, and swiss chard in brown butter. An excellent pairing ! This is drinking at or near peak right now.

August 13, 2018 - continue to love this massively complex wine

May 13, 2016 - Vindredi (Spanish Riojas, plus...) (Bellevue, WA): Tasted blind. Cough syrup, oak, and sweet fruit. This is big and showy. Juicy, but medium bodied with pure fruit. Nicely balanced with fine tannins.

November 7, 2015 - I had the a the "Bull and Bear" Steak House in Orlando. It paired extremely well with the short rib. On the nose there is cherry, tobacco, and just a hint of cedar. It is dark fruits up front, but certainly not a fruit bomb. It finishes long and earthy. I will look to acquire some for my cellar.
