Community Tasting Notes 1

November 18, 2014 - The aromas on this feel rocky and mountainous, almost a little volcanic. The black fruit comes through with time in the glass. It’s huge and dense but also somehow manages to feel almost floral and light on its feet and quite elegant. Long and layered with a creamy texture and very dark dense fruit cut through by the perfect acidity and really youthful but ultra fine tannins. The grip hold the black fruit character on your palate for a long long time. I almost wanted to find holes in this because of the huge price-tag, but it is a fantastic wine.
