November 1, 2020 - Deep ruby red color. Intense nose of dark cherries, cassis, tobacco, cedar. Wine is dry, medium accidity, plenty of soft oak tanins. Taste of blackberry, dried cherry, tobacco, chocolate. Finish is long. Excelent now, but has long years ahead.

July 12, 2019 - Tobacco, dried herb, fig and plums. A little austere and a tad thin. This one took a while to get going. Had a crazy amount of stuff oak tannin at first but this settled after an hour. These Tuscans always seem to show a nice mixed bag, but this one goes a bit to the dark and gritty side.
