    May 13, 2021 - Concur with EYEWINO

January 30, 2020 - Long decant (4+ hrs). Opaque/dark Ruby with thin lighter edge. Waves of dark berries, vanilla, cassis, mocha, and spice almost assault the nose and palate. Grippy, persistent tannins and a long aftertaste finish the taste. Believe it or not, a longer decant would have been better, probably.

I am not a fan of non- indigenous grapes for Italian wine, but this is, I admit, really good. And it will last another 3-5 years properly stored.

June 21, 2015 - Plowing through samples: Deep ruby colored. Nose of violets, cedar, fallen leaves and lots of crushed red and black berries. Firm yet dusty tannins, solid structure, moderate acid. Full of cedar and smoke, the red and black currant fruit is firm and crunchy. The new oak bravado is tempered by layers of roses, anise, clove and pepper. Medium-long finish, this is a bold wine that needs time, but has a lot to show. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Aged in all new French oak for 18 months.
