April 15, 2022 - Continues to improve with age. My last bottle and I recommend to drink up as it was not as good on 2nd day. Score reflects 1st night. Needs no more than about an hour to shake off any vegetal notes and integrate the tannins into deep rich but dry fruit. Very classy in a Napa way. Long finish.

May 12, 2021 - Has aged well and is a very nice wine, especially for the vintage. Opened up well after an hour and is a silky wine for its body. Dark and red fruits with good tannin backbone. Just a touch herbal on the finish but overall a smooth lengthy finish. A well made, serious wine. It has lots of life left.

January 21, 2019 - Overall experience was that the wine seemed young and somewhat shut down despite some very deep dark fruit. The danger is that it's just the vintage and it'll never soften and round out. Dark chocolate and earthy notes are there but the finish is vegetal and tannic. I'll be interested to see where this goes -- lots of stuffing to allow aging. I'd wait on this.

March 16, 2018 - 30 min bottle decant. Dark red fruit, anise, clove. Wine is balanced and the tannins are soft at this stage, but still present. There is still time to drink these, but I don’t see the need to age any further as I would not expect an improvement from here.

August 27, 2017 - Terrific wine despite a difficult vintage. Great depth and complexity and is easily accessible after about 15-30 minutes upon opening. Have consumed almost a case of these with little to no variation between bottles.

My local wine shop was selling these at a very reasonable price, so at $30 it was a tremendous value.

I would think these will continue to hold up for another 5 years without much concern. But I also don't think you need to wait.
