  August 12, 2018 - Drank with marinated flank steak. Opened 1 hour ahead, and chilled to cellar temperature. Superb Napa cab with soft subtle tannins.

  November 6, 2017 - Day 1. Dark ruby purple. Odd stalky leafy nose - reminds me of Gamay. Medium concentration, lots of grippy tannin and acid but again no real cab flavours and certainly no blackcurrant or cherries mentioned by others. Blind I'd guess cru Beaujolais in a hot vintage. Is this meant to taste like this?Perfectly decent wine, it's just not Napa Cab.
  
  Day 2. Much better - dark and brooding with more black fruit and clearly in need of more time. Bit of an enigma. Also 14.75% alcohol which is a bit high for me. Wouldn't buy again.

  March 17, 2017 - Very nice cab with black currant, black cherry and cigar box on the nose. Black cherry and tobacco on the palate with a nice long finish. Tannins are present with some grip that I like in a cab. Good value.
